D&S Courier may contact the customer for additional information before accepting a delivery request.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee that D&S Courier will accept or complete the delivery.
3. BUSINESS DELIVERY REQUESTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS
Business customers may be required to provide a Purchase Order (PO), work order, invoice number, customer reference number, or other business authorization before a delivery can be scheduled.
A PO may be required for business-to-business services depending on the customer's account or agreement with D&S Courier.
A PO is not required for ordinary personal deliveries unless D&S Courier specifically requests one.
Providing a PO number does not change the customer's responsibility for payment unless D&S Courier has separately agreed in writing to specific billing terms.
Business customers are responsible for ensuring that the person submitting a delivery request has authorization to request services on behalf of the business.
4. PRICING AND FEES
Delivery charges are based on the pricing displayed in the application or otherwise quoted by D&S Courier.
Depending on the service requested, charges may include:
* Pickup/service fee
* Mileage charges
* Additional-stop fees
* Special handling fees

The applicable price will be presented to the customer before the delivery request is finalized whenever reasonably possible.

5. PAYMENT
Payment is due according to the payment terms displayed in the application or established in a written agreement with the customer.
Personal customers may be required to pay before or at the time of service.
Approved business customers may be permitted to use invoicing or other agreed payment arrangements.
Customers are responsible for all authorized charges associated with their delivery.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of delivery services and may result in collection activity where permitted by law.
6. CANCELLATIONS
Customers may cancel a delivery request before pickup.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on whether a driver has already been dispatched, arrived at the pickup location, or begun providing services.
Once an item has been picked up, cancellation may be treated as a completed or partially completed delivery service and additional charges may apply.
Any applicable cancellation charges will be disclosed when reasonably possible.
7. PICKUP REQUIREMENTS
The customer or authorized representative must make the shipment available at the agreed pickup location.
Items should be properly prepared and packaged for transportation unless D&S Courier has specifically agreed to provide additional handling or preparation services.
D&S Courier may refuse to transport an item if:
* The item is unsafe
* The item is improperly packaged
* The item exceeds vehicle capacity
* The item exceeds reasonable weight or size limitations
* The item could damage the vehicle or other cargo
* The item requires special equipment that has not been arranged
* The item is prohibited under these Terms
* The pickup conditions are materially different from what was described in the delivery request
8. DELIVERY ACCESS AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to pickup and delivery locations.
Customers must disclose conditions that may affect the delivery, including:
* Stairs

* Limited parking
* Gated properties
* Restricted-access locations
* Elevators
* Loading docks
* Heavy or oversized items
* Special equipment requirements
* Other unusual access conditions
Additional charges may apply when special handling or difficult access was not disclosed in advance.
D&S Courier is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible locations, incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, traffic, weather, road closures, government restrictions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. MULTI-STOP DELIVERIES
Multi-stop deliveries may be available through the application.
Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery information for every stop.
Additional-stop charges may apply in addition to mileage charges.
D&S Courier may modify or decline a multi-stop request when the requested route, timing, cargo, or number of stops cannot reasonably be completed within the requested service requirements.
10. DELIVERY TIMES
D&S Courier will make reasonable efforts to meet the requested pickup and delivery timeframe.
Estimated pickup and delivery times are not guaranteed unless D&S Courier expressly provides a guaranteed service in writing.
Delivery times may be affected by traffic, weather, vehicle conditions, road closures, accidents, customer delays, pickup delays, recipient availability, and other circumstances beyond D&S Courier's reasonable control.
11. RECIPIENT REQUIREMENTS
The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone authorized to receive the shipment is available when required.
If the recipient is unavailable, D&S Courier may:
* Attempt to contact the customer or recipient
* Wait for a reasonable period
* Return the shipment to the pickup location
* Reschedule the delivery
* Leave the shipment only when specifically authorized to do so
Additional charges may apply for redelivery, waiting time, return trips, or additional handling.
12. PROHIBITED ITEMS
D&S Courier does not knowingly transport illegal, dangerous, or prohibited goods.
Prohibited items may include, but are not limited to:

Customers are responsible for accurately describing the contents of their shipment.
13. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
Customers must disclose any hazardous, regulated, or potentially dangerous material before requesting transportation.
D&S Courier does not accept hazardous materials unless the shipment has been specifically approved and all applicable legal, regulatory, safety, packaging, labeling, and transportation requirements have been satisfied.
14. ACCURACY OF DELIVERY INFORMATION
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information.
D&S Courier is not responsible for delays, additional charges, failed deliveries, or return trips caused by:
* Incorrect addresses
* Incorrect phone numbers
* Incorrect recipient information
* Incorrect item descriptions
* Incorrect dimensions or weight
* Missing access instructions
* Failure to disclose special handling requirements
Additional charges may apply when correcting information requires additional mileage, time, or service.
15. ITEMS AND CARGO
Customers remain responsible for ensuring that items presented for transportation are legally transportable and properly prepared for transportation.
D&S Courier will exercise reasonable care while handling items in its possession.
Customers should not place cash, irreplaceable personal items, confidential information, or other exceptionally valuable property in a shipment unless the shipment has been specifically accepted under an appropriate service arrangement.
16. DAMAGE, LOSS, AND CLAIMS
Customers should inspect items as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Any visible damage, shortage, or delivery issue should be reported to D&S Courier promptly and should include photographs and supporting documentation when available.
Claims may require:
* Delivery information
* Proof of ownership or purchase
* Photographs
* Description of the damage or loss
* Documentation establishing the claimed value
* Other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim
D&S Courier's responsibility for loss or damage will be determined under the applicable law, insurance coverage, written service agreement, and any applicable limitations of liability.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
17. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED PACKAGING
When the customer packages an item, the customer is responsible for using packaging reasonably appropriate for the item's size, weight, shape, and characteristics.
D&S Courier may refuse an improperly packaged shipment when transportation could create an unreasonable risk of damage or injury.
18. LARGE, HEAVY, OR SPECIAL ITEMS
Certain items may require additional equipment, personnel, or special handling.
Examples include:
* Large furniture
* Appliances
* Heavy equipment
* Large televisions
* Exercise equipment
* Automotive components
* Multiple large items
* Items requiring stairs or difficult access
Customers must accurately describe these items before scheduling.
D&S Courier may charge additional fees or decline the request when the requested service exceeds the equipment or personnel available.
19. TIRE AND AUTOMOTIVE DELIVERIES
Tire and automotive deliveries must be accurately described when submitted.
For tire deliveries, customers should provide the number of tires and any relevant pickup or delivery information.
D&S Courier may transport tires and automotive parts when the shipment can be safely and legally transported using the equipment available.
The number of tires does not necessarily determine the delivery price; pricing may instead be based on the applicable service and mileage structure displayed in the application.
20. BUSINESS ACCOUNTS
Businesses may establish recurring delivery relationships or accounts with D&S Courier.
Business customers may receive separate pricing, invoicing, payment terms, service terms, or other arrangements through a written agreement.
If a written business agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement will control only with respect to the specific services or terms covered by that agreement.
21. DRIVER SAFETY
D&S Courier prioritizes safe transportation and reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any delivery that presents an unreasonable safety risk.
Customers may not request or require a driver to violate traffic laws, parking restrictions, weight limits, safety requirements, or other applicable laws.

D&S Courier is not responsible for interruptions caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
